Another NNPP’s top shot, Garba Yama Rano, 7 LGs chieftains join APC

Another top shot of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Garba Yama Rano, together with the party’s chieftains from seven LGAs of Kano State, today joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The NNPP’s members are from Rano, Kiru, Bebeji, Takai, Gwarzo, Karaye, and Kabo of Kano State. They said they left NNPP due to ‘unfair treatment’ by the party’s leadership despite playing critical roles in the party’s victory during the last elections.
After dumping his red cap, the symbol of the Kwankwasiyya Movement, Garba Yama Rano said he would now be known as Maliyan Rano.
I assured them of our commitment to continue with the good interventions we are doing to support our people.
We will continue to partner and work with all people for the development of our state and the country in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
